About Tangier Island Cruises

Departing every day at 10 am from Buzzard's Point Marina. Cruise to Tangier Island from Reedville, Va. aboard the "Chesapeake Breeze".

The Breeze leaves port every day at 10:00 am and returns about 4:00pm. Enjoy a wonderful day out on the Chesapeake Bay and on Tangier Island.

Your cruise leaves from Historic Reedville, Va., the center of the largest fishing industry in the United States. The ship often passes fishing boats working their nets or large ocean freighters traveling between Baltimore and Norfolk, or points beyond.

After a relaxing one and a half hour narrated cruise, the ship docks at Tangier where you are met by a friendly guide.

During your two and a half hour visit, you may wish to eat a family style seafood dinner at the famous Chesapeake House or one of the other restaurants on the island. Picnic area, sandwich and gift shops are also conveniently located.

Walk around this quaint island, or take a tour on a mini-bus. Either way, you will remember your trip to Tangier for a long time to come.


Our Schedule and Rates:
• Cruise leaves Reedville at 10 am and returns at approximately 4:00 pm
• Cruises are $25.00 for adults, $13.00 for children for same day return
• Cruises are $30.00 for adults, $15.00 for children for overnight stays.
